About
Matt was born in Scranton, PA in 1977. He was diagnosed with Bi-polar Disorder while studying Photography and Art History at Lock Haven University. In 2006 he enrolled in the Fine Arts program at Keystone College where he was introduced to foundry practices and glass blowing. Matt graduated from Keystone in 2011 with concentrations in Sculpture and Glass. In 2014 he started working towards a Master’s of Fine Art degree at The Rochester Institute of Technology. His thesis, “Seeking Balance”, was successfully defended in 2016 although family obligations prevented him from completing the degree. Matt currently works out of his studio in Ludington, Michigan.
